After breakfast go for Amman City tour to include the visit of the citadel, Roman Theater, the archeological museum, old & new Parts of Amman.
Jordan's desert castles, beautiful examples of both early Islamic art and architecture, stand testament to a fascinating era in the country's rich history. Their fine mosaics, frescoes, stone and stucco carvings and illustrations, inspired by the best in Persian and Graeco-Roman traditions, tell countless stories of the life as it was during the 8th century. Called castles because of their imposing stature, the desert complexes actually served various purposes as caravan stations, agriculture and trade centers, resort pavilions and outposts that helped distant rulers forge ties with local Bedouins.

Travel to Wadi Feynan, an eco-lodge that was constructed in 2005 by renowned architect Ammar Khammash at the western edge of the Dana Biosphere Reserve. Jeeps will take guests from Reception to Feynan Lodge.
Deep in the heart of the mountainous Dana Biosphere Reserve, at the end of a rugged track, an idyllic candle-lit lodge rests in the magnificent Wadi Feynan.
Hailed as one of the best 25 ecolodges in the world by National Geographic Traveler Magazine, the award-winning, solar powered Feynan Ecolodge offers the most developed eco-experience in Jordan; an experience only made possible by a unique partnership between EcoHotels and the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, a Jordanian NGO devoted to the protection of the Kingdom’s finest natural landscapes.
Here, set against the glorious desert landscape, guests staying at the 26-room lodge can be found adventuring through the untouched outdoors, sipping sweet tea with the native Bedouin, exploring local archaeological sites or simply unwinding in the serene courtyards and terraces of the candle-lit complex, safe in the knowledge that their travels in Jordan are socially and environmentally responsible.
After night has fallen and the valley has settled into quiet, ascend candlelit stairs to a rooftop terrace laden with mattresses where you can stretch out and sip hot tea as you gaze upwards at the Milky Way in its uninhibited glory. With no other sources of light, the sky becomes a vast dome of black velvet lit only by thousands of twinkling stars and planets with occasional shooting stars burning their tails into the night sky. Kick your stargazing experience up a notch and test out a powerful 10 inch Mead telescope to get incredible views of Saturn’s ring, or Jupiter’s moons. Allow our guides to navigate you through the dark skies as their Bedouin fathers once used the stars to navigate through the deserts.

Apr 19 Wadi Feynan Bedouin Experience. Continue to Petra BLD
Cultural Bedouin experiences
Depart the Lodge by jeep with a boxed lunch today and experience a timeless piece of Jordanian culture. Specidic experience to be confirmed closer to arrival.
Perhaps join a local shepherd and his flock on an amble through the hills. Watch the sheep being milked, sip a freshly brewed cup of tea, and see how the flock moves to the clanging of bells.
These interactive experiences offer guests unique insight into the lives of one of the last remaining Bedouin communities in Jordan. Bedouin culture is evolving, and through these experiences we work with the community on preserving cherished traditions without getting in the way of progression. Join a local Bedouin family in their goat-hair tented home and learn about their rich culture and daily activities. You will have the rare opportunity to experience native Bedouin daily life, learn about their daily activities, traditions and way of life and learn about the sustainable lifestyle of traditional Bedouin tribes.
Or learn how to make Arabic coffee or earthy “Arbood” bread
Arabic coffee is an essential part of the Bedouin traditions; the Bedouins serve it on almost every occasion including weddings, funerals, or simply when the family gets together in the evening. During this experience, you will be taken through the musical experience of roasting the coffee beans, grounding then boiling them. The Bedouin family also explains the etiquette of serving the Arabic coffee and drinking it.
Arbood is the staple food a Bedouin would have for lunch while shepherding his/her herd of goats in the wilderness. A local Bedouin can teach you how to bake Bedouin bread from only flour, salt and water kneaded and baked in ash.
Feynan to Petra
Board the bus and continue to Little Petra for a site visit then check in to your hotel.
Accommodation: Petra Nabatean Castle (2 nights)
Apr 20 Petra BLD
Once the ancient Nabatean capital, this city gently reveals itself as you pass by its hand-carved facades. Starting at the visitor's center, each person is assigned a horse guided by a local Bedouin, who will lead you to the once hidden entrance to the lost city. After passing tombs, which are located outside the city, the visitor moves through an immense, yet narrow crack in the sandstone. It is a winding, one-kilometer-long fissure between overhanging cliffs that seem to meet more than 300 feet overhead. Near the end of the passage appears Petra's most impressive monument, el Khazneh - the Treasury. This is one of the most elegant remains of antiquity, carved out of the solid rock from the side of the mountain and is nearly 140 feet high and 90 feet wide. Beyond el Khazneh the visitor is surrounded on both sides by hundreds of Petra's carved and built structures, soaring temples, elaborate royal tombs, a carved Roman theater, large and small houses, burial chambers and much more.
An option is available for a 15 minute camel ride in front of the Treasury. ( Included but tipping is required)
Lunch is included today at a local restaurant in Petra.
Evening Cooking adventure at Petra Kitchen - an evening of learning, fun and a very special dining experience, with each dish gaining the special flavour of a reward well-earned. Each meal includes soup, cold and hot mezza and salads, and main course - all typical Jordanian dishes. You will experience an inside glimpse of the secrets behind the famous regional cuisine of the Levant
